This is a limited edition, crafted from our regular Hell Isle rum and then aged in an Amburana Cask for a month. Amburana is a unique tropical wood, traditionally used in Brazilian spirits aging practices, imparting exquisite flavors of toasted marshmallow and cinnamon bun that combine with the rum's notes of bananna and coconut.
Named after a small island off the coast of Nova Scotia's south shore, Hell Isle Cask Reserve pays tribute to our regions history in the rum trade and the unique tropical flavours found in Caribbean origin rums.
Notes of cinnamon, toasted marshmallow, tropical fruit, banana, brown sugar and vanilla marry delightfully with oak, spice and a gently warm finish.
